About me…

I am Emma.  Ex-Heritage Lottery Funded Heritage Skills for the Future trainee for Stockport Council, present freelance at Emma Hadley Curatorial Services.

I have an undergrad degree in History from Lancaster University, an MA in Heritage Studies from the University of Salford, and experience gained from both working and lots of volunteering in the heritage sector.

This blog features posts starting from my time as a Museums Collections Management Trainee at Stockport Council, and will continue with posts about my (hopefully!) various freelance projects.

Thank you for reading!

  1. Hi Emma

I am trying to find out what became of the Stockport Volunteer Colours (flags) of 1803 that were kept in Vernon Park Museum in the 1940’s -1950’s.
Have they fallen to bits or are they in another museum, or storage facility.
As you have been a Curator you may know where to start asking ?
Is there anything I can do for you ? I live in Leicester

    thanks guy
